- You Will Never Work In Television Again is out now.
The Smile, a band featuring Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood as well as Sons Of Kemet's Tom Skinner, has unveiled their debut single.
"You Will Never Work In Television Again," produced by Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich, is out now on XL Recordings and includes a music video. An album is expected to follow. The LP "is just about finished," according to the group's latest Instagram post. Speaking to The Coda Collection, Godrich said the forthcoming work is "not a rock record."
The single release comes as The Smile announces new gigs in the UK later this month. The trio will play three in-person shows at Magazine London on January 29th and 30th. Each event will also be live-streamed. Information on tickets is available here.
