  • Long-time UK DJ Nick Warren is selling his extensive record collection via Omega Auctions. The auction currently consists of over 200 lots of records, each sorted into genres or eras (house, electro, European trance, "legends of electronica" and so forth) or highlighting particular items, like a rare Mariah Carey 12-inch box set. It also features test pressings or otherwise one-off issues and other collectibles, said to span the entirety of his four-decade DJing career. Warren is one of the UK's longest-running and most revered selectors, starting out in Bristol in the '80s and eventually becoming the touring DJ for Massive Attack. He also formed the seminal progressive house outfit Way Out West with Jody Wisternoff in the mid-'90s, became a resident at Cream and mixed many of the Global Underground series' most important releases. He currently runs The Soundgarden, a hybrid label and events brand. Check out the full auction listing here.
