Berlin-based modular synthesist JakoJako is releasing her debut album, Metamorphose, on April 1st.
Following releases on Leisure System, Muzan Editions and a contribution to Tresor's 30-year compilation, JakoJako has partnered with Frank Wiedemann's Bigamo Musik label for her first LP. Bigamo is for "undiscovered music that wouldn't fit on the Innervisions label," according to Wiedemann, who is one half of Âme.
As well as a fast-rising producer, JakoJako is a DJ. This month, she officially became a resident at Berlin club Berghain.
The first single from Metamorphose, "Amygdala," is out now, with the second single, "Objekt," following on March 18th.
