Osheyack has announced his second album with Shanghai-based label SVBKVLT.
Intimate Publics sees the experimental producer expand his palette of IDM, gabber, techno, ambient and drone music. Inspired by club music's impact on social relations, the eight-track LP features Vocaloid samples and cover art by celebrated painter Qiu Xiaofei. A digital and limited-edition vinyl release is due June 8th.
The record marks Osheyack's departure from Shanghai, his home for the past decade, as the city currently endures a brutal lockdown. His previous SVBKVLT releases include Club Apathy, his 2021 collaborative EP with Nahash, and 2020's Memory Heirarchy.
