  • Copenhagen-based DJ and producer Schacke has announced his debut album. Titled Apocalyptic Decadence, the LP began to take shape in 2020 during the first lockdown. The name of the record and its contents are a reference to how the human desire for hedonism is amplified in dark times. The production borrows from Schacke's adolescent musical influences—metal, noise and industrial—as well as his more recent work fronting Copenhagen's distinctive techno scene. Spanning ten tracks, Apocalyptic Decadence will be out on Instruments Of Discipline on July 15th. It is the third part of his Pleasuredome Series on Luna Vassarotti's Berlin label, which previously included Welcome To The Pleasuredome and Artificial Intercourse. Listen to "Dungeon Crawler," the lead single off Apocalyptic Decadence.
