- Inspired by Tehran's traditional bath houses, the LP arrives on September 30th.
Nicolás Jaar's Other People label has announced its next release.
Arriving September 30th, Patience Of A Traitor is the first collaborative album by Saint Abdullah, a duo of Tehran-born brothers, and Eomac. Drawing inspiration from the bath houses of Tehran, the LP explores experimental noise, foley and glitcy rhythms across 11 tracks.
The record seeks to preserve "the things that are timeless, through revisiting the past," Brooklyn-based Saint Abdullah said in a statement. "The traditional Persian bath house—its architecture, the role it played in keeping, building community, the bathing rituals—served as our ultimate symbol."
Patience Of A Traitor is the latest release on Other People following Would It Sound Just As Bad If You Played It Backwards?, a collection of experimental compositions from Poland.
