- Gravity will be available from September 9th.
Christopher Willits is returning to Ghostly International with a new album.
Written during a particularly challenging time in the California-based composer's life, Gravity was a "tool for slowing down, feeling, and healing," said Willits. The eight-track ambient LP will be available from September 9th on digital and 3D spatial audio formats.
Willits also described the album as "a prayer of gratitude; feeling the curves of life, listening to the balance, acknowledging the ongoing journey. Every piece is a hymn filled with the balance of acceptance and perseverance, grief and inspiration."
Gravity is Willits's first full-length since 2019's Sunset, which was preceded by Horizon in 2017, both of which also came out via Ghostly.

Correction, July 27th: A previous version of this article incorrectly said Willits's 2019 EP was self-released. It actually came out on Ghostly.
Correction, July 28th: A previous version of this article said Sunset was an EP, when in fact it's an LP. The headline and main copy have been corrected to reflect this.
