- The techno artists will release their first record under the alias through Thrill Jockey.
Pariah and Blawan, AKA Karenn, have started a band called Persher.
According to Pariah on Instagram, the project is a "proper labour of love and something that Jamie and I have been talking about doing ever since we first became mates well over a decade ago." Pariah is on guitar and bass, while Blawan handles vocals. Both contribute production.
Persher's first record, Man With The Magic Soap, is a seven-track mini-album coming out October 21st via long-running US indie label Thrill Jockey. If ordered via Bandcamp or the label's website, the CD comes with a full-colour comic by George Addy, who designed the artwork.
