  • Naples' Basic Club is moving to a new industrial warehouse on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. The audiophile spot will reopen at the more centrally located, 500-capacity venue on October 1st. The team's state-of-the-art sound system has been tweaked, adding two Bertha subs and analogue speakers. The monitor system in the DJ booth is also new and fully analogue, custom built by the same Italian sound engineer who designed the main rig. "Movement means change, evolving to move forward," Basic Club told Resident Advisor. "A natural process of evolution that leads us to find a space more suited to our shape, an ideal place for our ideas." Basic has confirmed the first month of parties at the new venue, with slots for Hunee and Gigi Testa on the 1st, Ash Lauryn on the 15th, Yaya on the 22nd and Move D on the 29th. On the 8th, local promoter WOO! will celebrate its 12th anniversary. The lineup is still TBA. The new Basic Club is currently under construction. Here are some photos.
