- The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope will hit the shelves again on March 31st.
Tresor is repressing a relatively unknown album by James Stinson, one half of seminal Detroit electro act Drexciya.
First put out shortly after Stinson's death in 2002, The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope was the only release under his Shifted Phases alias. It's remained out of print for more than 20 years.
Tresor has commissioned new artwork from Detroit-based artist Matthew Angelo Harrison, who also created the cover art for the label's previous Drexciya rereleases, Neptune's Lair, Harnessed The Storm and Digital Tsunami. The triple-vinyl reissue will feature two tracks previously only available on CD: "Crossing Of The Sun-Ra Nebula" and "Alien Vessel Distress Call".
