  • A new festival is coming to South London from the team behind Outlook, Dimensions, We Out Here and more. Project 6's main event will take place on Friday, May 26th, at Brockwell Park, before the party continues into the night at venues like fabric, Phonox and Electric Brixton. Similar to Outlook, the musical programming will lean towards UK sounds such as jungle, drum & bass, UK garage, grime and dubstep. "Clubs are a vital part of this city's vibrant music scene and we wanted to create a festival where music lovers can enjoy music outdoors in the summer sun, while placing equal focus on the city's treasured club spaces," said the festival team. "Project 6 is about community, supporting venues, artists, labels, collectives and bringing people together celebrating the music we love." Split across six stages, the daytime lineup features three headliners—Ghetts, Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra, and Shy FX's new live show, SPECIALS—alongside the likes of Goldie, Hudson Mohawke, Darwin, DJ Storm (who will go back-to-back with DJ Flight), D Double E, Mala & Joe Armon-Jones, Rustie, Calibre, Kahn & Neek with Flowdan, Emerald and Tim Reaper. Highlights of the nighttime programme include a three-room takeover at fabric curated by Channel Tres, Hudson Mohawke and Rustie; a jungle party at Village Underground with Tim Reaper, Coco Bryce and others; and Calibre at Venue MOT.
