A new club is opening in the docklands area of Liverpool this week.
Launching on Thursday, February 23rd, Spray Shop is a 350-capacity space with a custom-made TPI sound system. It takes over what was once a car garage.
Headlining the launch party will be Richy Ahmed, with the likes of Archie Hamilton, Jesse Calosso and Joey Daniel confirmed to play in the coming weeks.
"I'm hoping to create something completely different to what's available in Liverpool at the moment," founder Kyle Muldoon told Resident Advisor. "There are a number of factors with this but it's mainly down to the crowd and the type of music we can offer on one of the best sound systems on the market. That will create the buzz and the vibe in the club."
For Muldoon, the opening may be bittersweet following the death of his business partner last year. "After Kevin died, I was left with the idea of developing the club into what it is today," he said. "I'm sure he would be amazed at what we've done with the place. It's sad that he's not here to see it."
