Drum & bass mainstay Mantra is releasing her first EP next month.
Spanning four tracks, Damaged EP will hit the shelves via Sneaker Social Club on March 10th. The title cut, which you can stream below, explores elements of drum & bass at a slower tempo.
"It feels good to be putting out a really varied EP," Mantra told Resident Advisor. "I DJ drum & bass and jungle but when it comes to producing I make all sorts and try not to be bound by tempo or genre. This EP is a reflection of that and mixes the rough and tough with the deep and smooth—similar to how I approach my DJ sets."
Primarily a DJ and promoter, Mantra has run legendary London drum & bass party Rupture alongside Double O since 2006. Her only other production credit is 2016's "Mindgames," which featured on a split EP with Clarity on UVB-76 Music.
