- ♡ (Ricardo Villalobos Remixes) is out today via Smugglers Way.
Ricardo Villalobos has remixed two tracks by Ela Minus & DJ Python.
Available digitally today, March 23rd, via Smugglers Way, the EP features extended remixes of "Kiss U" (13 minutes) and "Abril Lluvias Mil" (40 minutes). Both original tracks were on ♡ EP (pronounced "corazón"), which came out last September. A vinyl version of the remix EP will follow in July.
"Villalobos is very meaningful to me since my teenage years," said DJ Python. "Too honoured to do something like this with him. The Michael Jordan of music to my eyes."
The legendary Chilean-born DJ and producer is famous for his extended remixes—"Abril Lluvias Mil" appears to be his longest yet. Past efforts include a 28-minute version of Mari Kvien Brunvoll's "Everywhere You Go" and Shackleton's 18-minute "Blood On My Hands (Ricardo Villalobos Apocalypso Now Remix)."
