  • Melbourne arts and food festival RISING is returning this summer, hosting several electronic artists across 11 days. Running from June 7th through 18th, the festival will orbit multiple venues around Flinders Street Station. The programme spans visual art, installations, live music, food and more. Electronic highlights include Thundercat, Bambii, dameeeela, Loraine James, Arushi Jain and Flying Lotus, who will headline Forum Melbourne on Saturday the 17th. Also on the 17th, London's NTS Radio will host the festival's closing party at Max Watt's. The lineup is still TBA. "The more dance-centric side of the programme this year covers a broad mix of genres within this space, from ambient to crossovers of glitch, IDM, house, boogie and techno," said programmer Hayley Percy. "Each show has a genuinely different energy so we hope the audience will lean in and see some club faves but also take a risk on something new and discover some new bangers."
