  • Klara Lewis & Nik Colk Void are releasing their first album together. Out on June 30th through Alter, Full-On is made up of 17 experimental compositions, combining elements of pop, noise, techno and ambient. "Exchanging ideas in the way we did gave a new perspective, discussion and form," Lewis said. "We would pick up what aspect one liked from the other and elaborate the idea by treating, shaping and letting it grow using processes we would use on our own sounds." The album follows a string of improvised live performances at venues such as London's Cafe OTO, Liverpool Philiharmonic Hall and Amsterdam's Muziekgebouw aan t' IJ. The pair will return to the stage at Sónar in Barcelona and Austria's Donau Festival, where they'll be accompanied by live visuals from Pedro Maia. Lewis has previously released two albums on Editions Mego, and more recently collaborated with Peder Mannerfelt on an EP for The Trilogy Tapes. Nik Colk Void is better known as one half of Factory Floor alongside Gabe Gurnsey, and as a third of Carter Tutti Void alongside Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti. She's also released on Editions Mego, most notably her debut solo album, Bucked Up Space, last year. Watch the official video for "Work It Out," and revisit Nik Colk Void's RA Exchange.
