- "I just wanted to let u lot know how much I appreciate you staying with me for all this time," the UK musician said.
The elusive Jai Paul has posted a note online ahead of his first-ever live show at Coachella this weekend.
"I always wanted to do something like this but yeah Im not gonna lie I am absolutely shitting it 😆," he says in the note on Reddit (courtesy of Stereogum), which he uploaded along with a photo of rehearsals, pictured above.
"Anyway, I just wanted to let u lot know how much I appreciate all you staying with me for all this time," he added. "Hopefully it's gonna be worth it ☺️ Rehearsals been going good so far I reckon… Not long to go innit. For those of you able to make to make it out there, I will see you in a few days 😱🤪🙏🏼"
The performances mark the London artist's first activity since 2021, when he marked the tenth anniversary of his mega-hit "BTSTU" with a new website and new tracks. His last official release was "He" in 2019.
Paul will take the stage this Sunday, April 16th, followed by Sunday the 23rd.
