  • Kyiv's Strichka Festival has announced its lineup for 2023. Taking place next week at Closer, this year's edition is the first since 2021. Due to the wartime curfew, doors will run from 11 AM through 10 PM on Saturday and 9 AM through 10 PM on Sunday. Among the names on the lineup are John Dimas, Afriqua, Borys, Bambu, RA staffer human margareeta and ISH, who will perform a live audiovisual set. "Strichka Festival has always been a celebration of spring, hope, love and music," the Closer team told Resident Advisor. "We felt that now is the time to bring together our community and a large number of Ukrainian artists, to remind the world that despite the war, our musical culture hasn't disappeared but is being reinterpreted and developed. For us, the return of Strichka is like the return of a part of life that we said goodbye to at the beginning of the war." Check out the full lineup.
