  • Juliana Huxtable is hosting an exhibition at Fotografiska Berlin, a new contemporary museum of photography, art and culture. Taking place during Berlin Art Week and running until January 2024, USSYPHILIA will see the US DJ, writer, performer and multimedia artist explore contemporary discourses around gender, race, identity, queerness and sexuality. It will include the premiere of a video installation and works from the AKIMBO SPITTLE series. Located on Oranienburger Straße in Mitte, Fotografiska Berlin will open to the public on September 14th. "Our goal is to inspire new perspectives through art and culture," said executive director Yousef Hammoudah. "To achieve that, Fotografiska Berlin will be developed as a platform for established and emerging artists as well as the diverse creative communities in Berlin." Find out more about USSYPHILIA via the museum's website.
