King Britt is hosting the first-ever Blacktronika festival in New York next month.
Taking place at Brooklyn's public records on Sunday, July 30th, Blacktronika : Brooklyn will feature a combination of DJ sets, live performances and panel discussions. Performers include Maria Chavez, Charlie Dark, Orion Sun and King Britt himself.
Blacktronika : Brooklyn is an extension of the course of the same name taught by King Britt at the University Of California, San Diego. Previous guests include Theo Parrish, Ron Trent and Masters At Work. He also curated a Blacktronika exhibit at the university earlier this year.
