- Derby promoter discotech is set to hold its first day festival this summer. Taking place on Saturday, August 5th at Markeaton Park, the long-standing event series will host a full day of music just five minutes from Derby city centre. Music on the day comes from Dr Banana, Lukas Wigflex, discotech resident Jordan Diston, Scott Streak, Jam.Low and MINI. "Expect secret rooms, actors, performers and so much more" said promoter and resident Jordan Diston. "We're going for an intimate day festival feel with street food vendors, a chill out area and plenty of surprise trimmings. Not only that but our trusted Funktion One sound system is back (with a couple of extra stacks) and some unreal stage design and lighting." discotech has 11 years of experience throwing parties both in the UK and further afield.
