- The UK techno legend has pledged to continue re-releasing old projects via Bandcamp "every two weeks."
Steve Bicknell is giving some of his classic records their first digital release.
Out yesterday, Friday 28th, through his Cosmic Records label, 1996 EP Why? And For Whom? is the first in a series of digital re-releases. Writing via Instagram, the UK techno legend said he'd launched a Bandcamp page, and pledged to continue re-releasing old projects digitally "every two weeks." These will include music released under an array of aliases, including S.B. Project, The Evader, Kim Bilir and his own name.
Last year, Bicknell outed himself as the person behind backtotheparty, a YouTube channel that had been anonymously uploading edits of classic dance tracks. The previous year, KR3 Records released a new series from Bicknell, titled A Day In The Life.
