- Echo Bar in Bray, County Wicklow, opened over the weekend.
Irish DJ and producer The Drifter has opened a bar and venue in the coastal town of Bray, County Wicklow.
Launched last weekend, Echo Bar is a music-focused space that'll be open every Thursday through Sunday, with DJs playing at the weekend. The Drifter and Magnier soundtracked the opening events.
The Drifter broke the news on Instagram last Wednesday, October 8th. "We need more places to dance," the post read. "Wicklow and South County Dublin lack music venues. Echo Bar aims to help. Bray seafront has a history as a nightlife destination, making it the perfect location for Echo Bar.
The Drifter founded Maeve Records with Mano Le Tough and Baikal in 2012. He's also had releases on labels like Seayou Records, Permanent Vacation and Watergate.
