Techno Worlds and The Pulse of Techno will run from January 11th through March 31st.
Zurich photography gallery Photobastei will host two techno exhibitions next year.
Both running from January 11th through March 31st, Techno Worlds and The Pulse of Techno will explore the Swiss city's 30-year relationship with the genre, while also tracing the roots of its global explosion.
The exhibitions will come with a broad programme of club events featuring some of techno's most influential artists. Among those performing are Thomas Fehlmann (January 13th), Underground Resistance, DJ Minx and DJ T-1000 (January 20th), Dirty Doering (February 24th), Miss Kittin and Deetron (March 9th), and Ipek Ipekcioglu (March 23rd).
Back in 2017, Zurich recognised "techno culture" as part of its UNESCO "intangible cultural heritage," acknowledging dance music's importance to the city.
