This heartfelt and gorgeous mix from Experimental Housewife collects music from across the career of Brian McBride, the late composer and musician who was also one half of influential ambient band Stars Of The Lid.
"McBride’s music at its core is the soundtrack of Central Texas plains and rocky outcroppings," she said, "of eroded mountains and dirty, tired water, of the otherworldliness of the Edwards Plateau at night and the mystique of cicada chorusing in harmony with multiple lawn mowers after a violent thunderstorm."
