- Nine events will take place from May 21st through 30th at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Kraftwerk are celebrating the 50th anniversary of 1974 album, Autobahn, with a nine-show residency at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
The German electronic music pioneers will perform nightly from May 21st through 30th, with each concert dedicated to a different album: Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991) and Tour de France (2003). Each concert will also feature additional compositions from their catalogue.
The residency, which is being hosted by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, will culminate on the ninth day with a retrospective performance of their five-decade repertoire. Kraftwerk's music has been composed and produced by founders Ralf Hütter and the late Florian Schneider, who died in 2020.
