The Avalanches have scored a short film.
Premiering this Friday, January 19th, at Sydney's Flickerfest, Yeah The Boys explores masculine identity and drinking culture in Australia. Directed by Stefan Hunt and written by Vanessa Marian Varghese, the production spans eight minutes in total.
The Avalanches' score will be the first time the Melbourne duo has released new music in almost three years. Their last single, "Don't Forget Your Neighborhood" with Cola Boyy, came out in 2021. Last August, the group confirmed on social media that a new album was in the works.
