Omar Souleyman is back with a new album.
Named after the Iraqi city that Souleyman has made his home in recent months, Erbil delves further into the techno-meets-dabke sound that the Syrian artist is known for. His fifth album to date, it's out on March 29th via Mad Decent.
Erbil follows on from 2019's Shlon and 2017's From Syria With Love. In 2021, Souleyman was arrested in Turkey on terrorism charges, before later being released without charge.
Listen to "Rahat Al Chant Ymme," and revisit Souleyman's RA Sessions performance from 2015.
