  • R3 Soundsystem is hosting a protest rave in Central London next month. Taking place outside Downing Street on March 16th, HOUSE AGAINST HATE is part of a United Nations Anti-Racism Day demonstration against "the racist, xenophobic, transphobic, anti-immigrant, pro-Israel contingent in the UK establishment," according to a press release. Organised in collaboration with Black Artist Database, Stand Up to Racism, Love Music Hate Racism and HOMO-CENTRIC RECORDS, the event will feature sets from The Blessed Madonna, Yazmin Lacey, Hot Chip, NIKS, Eliza Rose, Midland and GIDEÖN, among others. MCs include Normski, Ru Paul's Drag Race winner Bimini Bon Boulash and the former leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn. It's also raising funds for Medical Aid For Palestinians. "As the Tories ratchet up their anti-immigration rhetoric, as Trump plots his second attempt at dismantling US democracy, and as Labour fail to call out Israel's genocide, we must unite once again around our community sound system to protest the global consolidation of right-wing power," said GIDEÖN. "Bring banners, loudhailers and friends, plus everything you need to kickstart the revolution." Browse Instagram and the event listing below for more information.
