  • Cosmic Slop, a fundraising event for Leeds non-profit MAP Charity, has started a label. Launched today, February 27th, Cosmic Slop Records debuts with a Four Tet tape called 871. His first solo release on cassette, it features archival recordings dated between August 1995 and January 1997. Just like the Cosmic Slop parties, all proceeds from the record label will go towards MAP Charity, a music and arts charity that works with young people who are unable to access mainstream school systems. Cosmic Slop events, which are held at Hope House in Leeds, have featured the likes of Chunky, Bradley Zero and Mike BC, among others.
