Ny Lille Klub has announced its closure.
The Copenhagen venue broke the news on Instagram today, February 29th, and confirmed that this would be its final day in operation. "We're deeply sad that the time at our beloved little club is over," the post read. "But at the same time we're filled with joy and gratitude for all the amazing moments we have had together." The reason for the closure wasn't disclosed.
Launched in June of last year, Ny Lille Klub is a volunteer-driven space that hosted club nights, concerts and various other cultural events. Previous guests include Ida Englehart, Kasper Marrott, CLITS and Organ Tapes.
It has become the second Copenhagen venue to shut down this month. Motopol closed on February 16th after being served with a 14-day eviction notice.
