Josey Rebelle, Fadi Mohem, Elke and Tasha will play the converted bunker in the coming months.
Wuppertal club Open Ground has announced its first-ever residents.
The venue broke the news on Instagram last Friday, April 12th, confirming Josey Rebelle, Fadi Mohem, Elke and Tasha for residencies. The four DJs "embody the spirit of the club," the post read. "We invite you to join them with an open mind and share a great experience of sound system music in an inclusive, respectful club environment."
Alongside the residents, Open Ground has booked the likes of MSJY, Zenker Brothers, Akanbi, Skee Mask, Lamin Fofana, Ben UFO, Monolake and dBridge for the coming weeks.
Occupying a converted bunker close to the city's main train station, Open Ground was launched last December by a team centring around former Hard Wax staff member Markus Riedel. Hard Wax founder Mark Ernestus also provided consulting.
