Kamaal Williams will no longer perform in Leeds, Manchester, London and Bristol in the coming weeks after sexual assault allegations emerged yesterday, May 23rd, via Resident Advisor.
The electronic jazz artist's Bad News Tour was due to hit the UK this weekend, starting in Leeds on Saturday, May 25th, at Belgrave Music Hall. That gig has since been cancelled, as has a show at The Blues Kitchen Manchester (May 26th), three sold-out dates at The Jazz Cafe in London (May 29th, 30th, 31st) and a gig at Central Warehouse in Bristol (June 7th).
The cancellations have all landed in the past 24 hours, after RA published the accounts of three women who allege sexual assault against Williams, in a period spanning more than ten years.
