Bay Area residents have plenty to look forward to tonight and tomorrow.
October 31st: The one day every year that normal-seeming adults and children are given free rein to look as ridiculous as possible. October 31st: Excluding New Year's Eve, possibly the most special party days of the year.
San Francisco has no shortage of choices this year for the holiday. On Friday, Alland Byallo will be playing along with Clint Stewart and Moniker (AKA Kenneth Scott and EO) will be setting the Anu alight, French pop princess Yelle will be hitting up Mezzanine, Apollo and Ivan are set to take over Vessel for a costume extravaganza and none other than Z-Trip will be mashing it up at Supperclub.
While Friday's crowds will most likely know exactly where they want to go, Saturday presents a bit of a problem: Lee Burridge? Paco Osuna? Claude VonStroke with Switch? A little bit of devilish house fun at Vessel with Pollux and Vahid? They're all possibilities, with those who edge toward the trance end of the spectrum would best be served by driving over to Richmond, where Paul Van Dyk is scheduled to perform. Any way you slice it, things should be crazy.
