Junk, with its forward-thinking musical policy, powerhouse of a soundsystem, meticulous attention to detail, enthusiasm and party-first, ask-questions-later ethos, have been blazing a trail over the past few years in the clubbing industry. Working closely with Cocoon, Moon Harbour, Circo Loco, Superfreq, Channel Zoo, Crosstown Rebels and Get Physical, and holding some of the best boat parties in the country, it’s safe to say they are heavyweights of the UK clubbing fraternity.
Drawn together to the South Coast as if by magic 6 years ago for the infamous Junk Club project are the passionate collective behind the brand – known as the Junk family – comprising of DJs, producers, promoters, artists and graphic designers – all originating from flourishing and cosmopolitan areas of the UK including Bristol and London – with hints of Sicilian and Eastern European blood thrown in. What stands out most is the common and uncanny love for music and their shared dream – to put on the best parties in the world.
