Only a 5-minute ride from downtown Montréal, the Parc Jean Drapeau site offers a refreshing alternative to the heat of the city, without having to leave it. Piknic Électronik is an innovative weekly event that indulges audiences while constantly proposing new discoveries. With electronic music at the core of its mission, Piknic aims to open up the genre by offering an immersive social experience. Defined by its specialized yet accessible programming, Piknic Électronik knows how to please both electronic enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Local and international talent tag team on the two stages, each offering a unique atmosphere in a distinct setting. The Piknic Électronik formula has been exported beyond Montréal borders! Piknic launched its first season in Barcelona in 2012 at the Montjuïc, a magnificent park in the heart of the Spanish city. Fans of electronic music were able to attend seven Sunday events throughout the summer. Owing to its great success, Piknic is coming out strong for a 4th edition and two more cities in 2015: Melbourne and Dubaï. We hope these are but the beginnings of a bigger adventure for Piknic’s international ambitions.
