Volt is one of Sweden’s leading festivals for electronic music. Since 2009 Volt has offered electronic music spanning many different genres. Everything from experimental projects, through smashing dubstep to pumping raw techno.
At Volt you find small local producers – often performing for the first time – alongside legendary and internationally acclaimed producers and DJs. Volt is also much more than a music festival celebrating electronic music. Since the premiere in 2009, Volt attendees have been presented with video art and interactive installations occupying the borderland between man and machine, digital and analog.
The festival is produced by and held in Uppsalas concert and congress hall, UKK. Hypermodern architecture with clean lines, top of the line technology and first-rate acoustics are what make UKK one of the best places in the world to hold an electronic music festival.
