Born from the minds of a tireless, music loving and promoting collective, a new Leeds night is to complete the city’s already vast sonic spectrum: from September 30th 2011, absentminds is to offer up a refined selection of bass, garage and dubstep acts for your listening – and of course dancing – pleasure.
Taking place at the infamous Mint Club with its sleek design, sensational Funktion One sound and stimulating LED disco panel, the monthly gathering will nicely feed the need of any bass heads currently left wanting in the city. Far from just plugging a gap though, absentminds will aim to lead the way with names like Jacques Greene, xxxy, Lone and George FitzGerald the first to set the wheels in motion.
