Summer 1988, the explosion of the Acid Rave movement and the secretive raves that took place across the UK and then the world. The parties were about the atmosphere, world- class sound systems and unseen industrial locations. The seasoned partygoers united for the events through word of mouth, with venues revealed last minute and a handful of up and coming resident DJs.These were the foundations of today’s booming dance scene.
Another Party is about reviving the excitement of that era. With its select crowd, many flying in especially for the event with one common purpose, Another Party has taken the concept of the Acid Raves of the early 90s and modernised it to suit the times we are living in. There are too many clubs, too many underground raves, and no one has taken the best elements from both like Another Party has.
Each party since our first in 2008 has pulled in excess of 800 people. Our marketing relies on word of mouth, and personal contacts. Another Party has managed to carve its own niche in a scene that was already saturated with guests such as Dan Ghenacia, Marcus Worgull, Argy, Tiefschwarz, DJ Three, Cesare vs Disorder and Bloody Mary.
