Futureboogie are a few things to more than a few people. Promoters, DJs, booking agency. Celebrating their 6th year of existence in 2008, they originally started their ‘Seen’ club night back in their hometown of Bristol bringing the full spectrum sounds of producers and DJs such as Attica Blues, Jazzanova, Peter Kruder, Gilles Peterson, Quantic, Bonobo, Fat Freddy’s Drop to the people of the South West.
Their mixture of deep house, disco, broken beat, soul, Latin and jazz spawned the term ‘futureboogie’, and thus the website and booking agency of the same name. Now a three strong team of DJs – Joe90, ElHarvo, and Kid Bongo – the Futureboogie consists of regular club nights and live gigs of all sizes in Bristol and London, with residencies at the Big Chill House and Big Chill Bar, and a new night starting at Cargo in 2008. Over the past years they have played at clubs and festivals in Germany, Croatia, Austria, France, Russia, Romania, Spain, Holland, Switzerland, Belarus, and Bulgaria, New York, Australia and at top festivals such as The Big Chill, Glastonbury, Bestival, and The Garden.
The Futureboogie Show runs weekly Sunday nights on Kiss 101, and in 2008 will be providing regular mix shows on Radio Sonica (Ibiza) and Lounge FM (Turkey), and Samurai FM
