NOISE IN MY HEAD is a freeform sonic excursion hosted by Michael Kucyk. The radio show began transmitting on Melbourne community broadcaster 3RRR 102.7FM on 3 December 2005, where it continued weekly until 24 February 2013. It has since existed as a monthly program on London online network NTS, sent long distance from Sydney, with intermittent podcasts.
Unless otherwise noted, each show opens with musical selections from the host, followed by a mix recorded by various Australian and international artists, producers, DJs, label heads, compilation selectors and record collectors of unknown and well-respected renown. These two sections are generally distinguished as Part One and Part Two.
