System started life as a tiny party in a pub on an estate just outside of the city centre, Leeds. It managed to attract DJs like Slam, Funk D’Void, Billy Nasty, Jamie Anderson, Vince Watson and Dave Angel to play to less than 200 people in an honest, intimate environment. The free parties soon became legendary with visitors travelling from as far away as Scotland and Italy to see what all the fuss was about. Shane took the leap and bought Mint Club to take System onto the next level, which allowed the night to grow into what it is today. The bookings got bigger and it allowed more people to join the parties due to the increased capacity. System to this day has been going for over eight years and recently celebrated 8 Years with Mr G (live) Enzo Siragusa at Mint Club. The past guests over the five years has seen system. host the likes of Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Luciano, Dixon, Jeff Mills, Martin Buttrich, Steve Bug, Raresh, Guti and tINI to name a few
