In the mid 1990s Merk-E was introduced to dance music in Philadelphia and soon thereafter began his love for the music and the scene. Merk-E started his career playing a mixture of hard techno and house music at raves in Philly, DC and NYC. His first club DJ booking was at Space in Philly, then soon after began playing Tru in Atlantic City and some of the most iconic clubs in NYC such as Limelight, Spirit, Palladium, and Amazura Ballroom to name a few.
Over the years Merk-E has molded his sound into a deep dark progressive techno vibe that brings even the most lax people to the dance floor. He is known for long proggy sets that set him apart by stimulating your senses and pulling you onto the floor with deep pounding complex bass lines that have been known to vibrate bottles off the bar shelves. Rich thrives on sounding different, playing new records in every set while still giving the people what they came to see. Receiving over 500 promos a week, Merk-E spends most of his time going through beats and talking with upcoming artist from all over the world, looking for and playing that one record that will make your ears tingle and your body throb.

Veera got involved with the nightlife industry several years ago, mainly with the promotional aspect of it. That quickly evolved into a marketing opportunity, which was of great interest at the time. Through this, she learned more than she could have ever hoped for and met amazing people!
House Assassins, which focuses on DJing, event planning, and promotions, was created at the beginning of 2009 through the collaboration of three partners, Merk-E, KRock, and Veera, who all had similar backgrounds and interests. Having been though the entire learning process this industry has to offer, the only logical next step was to get involved with the actual music everything is based on. Thus, Veera started DJing at the beginning on 2009.
She has gathered inspiration from the likes of Rosario Internullo, DJ Optick, Pagal, Dirty Culture, Danny Howells, Ricardo Villalobos, Gui Boratto, Tocadisco, Trentemoeller, Lutzenkirchen, and Danny Tenaglia, etc.
Ken Masters came into the scene in 1999 as a promoter at various night clubs in ny such as Roxy, Limelight, Sound Factory, Webster Hall, and Exit. After 8 years of doing promotions, he redirected his focus into music and learned how to dj. Within 2 years since first learning how to mix a beat, he has played all over the east coast from New York to Florida, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Massachusetts.
His various music styles range from house, deep house, tech house, techno, minimal and funky swing house. Within all these genres of music he is able to open and close any party and can work any crowd to keep their booties bouncing and shoulders shaking. It does not matter to him if hes only playing for one person or 10,000 as long as his music can reach that one person and they can feel it deep down in their soul.
