RPMM LIVE: A festival musical experience; a planet-sized consciousness. We aim to offer revellers a Live Aid inspired climate change awareness event combined with a voyage of musical wonder . Discover stunning live performances from new and critically acclaimed international artists. RPMM GLOBAL is responding to the climate change crisis call to action, by hosting a fund-raising event to help raise awareness and much needed funds to support projects around the world, fighting to protect our planet's fragile ecosystem. Climate change is part of the earth's natural cycle, but human influence has accelerated this phenomenon and the results are visible during our lifetime. The consequence of our inaction to try and reverse the damage caused is placing all creatures that inhabit our planet in peril. RPMM GLOBAL wants to contribute towards the reversal of climate change and help ensure the safeguard of our frail ecosystem. Rainforests are often called the lungs of the planet and the Cerrado is the cradle of waters that supports them in their role in absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, upon which all life depends. Rainforests also stabilise the climate, house incredible amounts of plant and wildlife, and produce nourishing rainfall all around the planet. NASA estimates that if deforestation levels proceed at these levels, the remaining world as we know it, will disappear in around 100 years.
