Local Knowledge is a London via Melbourne record label run by Roy Mills, Issa & DJ Mum.
Originally a long running radio show and club night platforming emerging artists, in the bassier and left-field realms of club music.
The label has evolved over the years to become an essential international outlet for emerging creative projects. Beyond the record label, collaborative community events have seen fundamental growth in young artist’s and their vision.
The label has fostered and encouraged an eye-on-the-future approach to music and design, bridging creative industries to hold a central space for all visual arts, sound work, technology and fashion; whilst maintaining a strong dancefloor sensibility.
