Unorthodox events is all about pushing boundaries, exploring new territories and bringing cultures together. Having noticed a major grey area within the UK drum & bass scene, it was time to start asking questions and getting peoples attention. The LGBTQ+ movement within the Drum & Bass scene is suppressed. There is so much that the UK queer scene has to offer; the club nights are awesome, friendly, fun and open places, however the issue is that none of these nights play the music we love.. Drum & Bass. There are many reasons for this, however the aim of Unorthodox is to break down all barriers between the two scenes and start a new movement, where Drum & Bass fans can enjoy a queer event, and queer people can enjoy Drum & Bass.
