- There's not much to say about Norman Nodge's remix of Trusme's classic "Good God" other than it's a perfect example of economical and deeply hypnotic techno. Thankfully, the original's immediately recognisable melody is left in place, while the bumpy and uplifting drums get replaced with a perfectly swung kick drum that thuds without a break for seven mesmerising minutes. With that and only the faintest dusting of hits and snares accompanying it, the rippling melodic centrepiece now feels eerie, where Trusme's accompaniments made it sound much more joyous. Marcel Dettmann's take on "A Sweetmother," on the other hand, bares no relation to the original. It is, however, a tense and tunnelling tool that keeps you pleasantly paranoid.
