- A new collaborative album from Detroit newcomer Alister Fawnwoda (who's collaborated with Omar-S), modular synthesist Suzanne Ciani and Grammy-winning pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz presents a rhythmic side of ambient. Incorporating folk, expansive synths and winding passages of ocean-like sounds, "Night Bunny" is a quiet exploration of intensity. Gradients and loops are thoughtfully superimposed on each other while bits of acoustic-driven melody inject pep into what might otherwise be a drifting and sombre track. All in all, it's a demure and inviting offering from a diverse trio of artists.
