- Synth-heavy, minimalist trap.
- "OKAY!"—the long awaited first single from Kanye West protege KayCyy—has an ominous edge to it: "I feel good / I feel good / Not no ties on my side," he repeats, as rising siren-like sounds signal impending doom. His flows are Carti-esque, erratic enough to bring the energy on a track with almost zero percussion on it. Even in the absence of drums, Gesaffelstein's menacing electronics make for a synthy, skeletal labyrinth to fixate on from start to finish. The result is a high-risk, high-reward move by two enigmatic and future-facing artists. With the glacial "OKAY!," you get the sense they're here to permanently shake things up beyond the tried and tested formulas.
