AlbumArte is an independent and non-profit exhibition space in Rome, stands out for its international collaborations and for its talks and meetings on contemporary languages such as video art, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, performance, sound art, music concert, artistic residency, in supporting and promoting young artists and curators. AlbumArte has organized collaborations with a number of public institutions, in Italy as well as abroad such as the MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts (Rome), The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (Rome), the French Institute of Culture in Italy, the Real Academia de España en Roma, Independent Art Platforms and Ministries of Culture in Europe, Institutions of Culture and Universities both in Italy and abroad.
The association has realized exhibition with Italian and international artists and curators and continuing projects: Anteprima, an international program of artist-in-residence, exhibitions, screenings and talks promoted both in Italy and abroad. AlbumArte | VideoArtForum, a series of international videos and films artists with screenings, personal exhibition and debates. AlbumArte | Residenze aims to reflect around the theme of artistic residency, through exhibitions showing artworks that have been exclusively produced during AlbumArte artist-in-residence programs and exposed in Italy for the first time. AlbumArte Music, a project which aims at creating a dialogue between the audience and key figures of contemporary art and those of contemporary music.
Recently, AlbumArte has started producing videos and documentaries of exhibitions and talks held at the project space in Rome as well as videos on contemporary art
